Since 2022, A10 Associates has been working with congressional leaders to understand what these unidentified anomalous objects flying around our atmosphere are – and whether they pose a threat to U.S. citizens.
The conversations led by A10 Associates and MUFON helped influence and establish the first of its kind All-Domain Anomaly Resolution Office (AARO) which, under the 2023 National Defense Appropriations Act, will be the focal point for the Intelligence Community and DoD to track and report these phenomena to Congress throughout the year.
The threat of UAPs has become so severe and important that in February of 2023, Senator Rubio (R-FL) and Senator Gillibrand (D-NY) led a bi-partisan push to fully fund the AARO. The letter written to the Deputy Secretary of Defense and signed by 16 congressional leaders states, “AARO provides the opportunity to integrate and resolve threats and hazards to the U.S., while also offering increased transparency to the American people and reducing the stigma around this issue of public interest.”
MUFON looks forward to continuing work with he A10 Associates team to decrease the stigma around this issue, create a stronger community reporting mechanism, and ensure that we can identify and track these UAPs to maintain U.S. air supremacy and protect our National Security.
