A mysterious handoff in New Jersey brings a long-lost piece of UFO history directly to the Mutual UFO Network (MUFON) archives.
One of MUFON’s Directors (Bob Spearing) gets a mysterious email from a woman named Cara about a briefcase that came into her possession containing long lost UFO Research! Bob travels over an hour to New Jersey for an exclusive, highly confidential meeting with two individuals holding a piece of history that has been locked away for years. The meeting takes place at a coffee shop in Boonton, New Jersey on Sunday, September 27, 2026 at approximately 3:00 PM.
The story begins with the late John Rohlman and his sister, Edith Hiawatsch. Together, they were actively writing a book detailing incredible, unreleased information about the UFO phenomenon. When John passed away, his research—and the manuscript—vanished into a mysterious briefcase. Decades later, the briefcase passed down to Edith’s son, Ross Richstone. Recognizing the profound historical importance of his uncle’s life work, Ross entrusted the briefcase to Cara Cilento. Now, Cara and Ross have brought this hidden archive forward, handing it over to MUFON to ensure John and Edith’s research is preserved, studied, and finally brought to light.
