Join Us at the MUFON World Symposium 2027
The Mutual UFO Network is excited to announce that planning is underway for the 2027 MUFON World Symposium.
Join us from Thursday, July 22, through Sunday, July 25, 2027, at the Marriott Kansas City Overland Park, located at 10800 Metcalf Avenue, Overland Park, Kansas 66210.
This will be a wonderful opportunity to meet fellow MUFON members, Field Investigators, experiencers, researchers, authors, speakers, and people from around the world who share an interest in the UFO and UAP phenomenon. Whether you have attended a MUFON Symposium before or will be joining us for the first time, we invite you to be part of this special gathering.
The 2027 World Symposium will offer four days of learning, connection, discovery, and meaningful conversation.
Thursday: Field Investigator Training
Thursday will feature a full day of MUFON Field Investigator Training. Multiple instructors will cover a range of topics related to investigative methods, evidence evaluation, documentation, case analysis, and the scientific method.
The training is informative, practical, and engaging. It is also an excellent opportunity for current and future investigators to learn from experienced instructors and connect with others who are committed to careful, objective, and respectful UFO investigation.
Friday: Receptions and the Annual Banquet
Friday afternoon will begin with a private reception for MUFON Benefactors, followed by a general reception for all Symposium attendees. These receptions are always a wonderful time to meet new friends, reconnect with colleagues, and enjoy the spirit of the MUFON community.
At 7:00 p.m., the Annual Banquet will begin, featuring a keynote speaker to be announced in the coming months.
Past MUFON Symposium keynote speakers have included Peter Robbins, George Knapp, Avi Loeb, Lue Elizondo, Stanton Friedman, Cheryll Jones, and David Paulides. We look forward to sharing news about our 2027 keynote speaker soon.
Saturday and Sunday: Speakers, Workshops, and Special Activities
Saturday and Sunday will feature a full schedule of expert speakers in the field of ufology and related areas of research. Presentations will cover UFO and UAP investigations, historical cases, scientific perspectives, experiencer accounts, emerging research, and many other fascinating topics.
The program will also include private experiencer workshops, offering a respectful space for personal reflection and thoughtful discussion.
Special activities are being planned for Saturday evening as well. More information will be announced soon.
Optional Side Trip
MUFON is also planning an optional side trip for an additional fee. Previous Symposia have included memorable experiences such as a Saturday-evening dinner cruise on the Ohio River during the 2026 Symposium near Cincinnati and a day trip to the National Museum of the United States Air Force at Wright-Patterson Air Force Base.
The 2027 excursion will be announced once plans are confirmed. It will be another great way to enjoy the area and share an experience with fellow attendees.
Vendors Welcome
The Symposium will host a variety of vendors offering UFO- and UAP-related books, services, inventions, clothing, artwork, and other unique items.
