The witness states, “I photographed UFOs coming out of an electrical cloud storm – A large circular hole with electrical cracking and bolts of electricity, crossing each other in that hole in the clouds and it didn’t appear to be lighting.
Mainly because of the sound and shortness of the bolts, sort of controlled in a circular hole (please see the hole in the cloud far right edge of the photograph just above the tree line.)
I ran inside the house and grabbed our camera, and ran back out and took this picture.
The electrical action had stopped by the time I returned with the camera. The two blackish/grey colored saucers appeared so fast just as I took the picture. and a sound happened and to this day I can’t grasp a description of that sound, it was like it entered my head but not through my hearing, into my mind sort of thing. One description that I feel is very close, is if you tear a sheet of metal.
I don’t remember what I did post taking that picture. But…. other events post taking the picture are so clear still to me now. I kept the photograph hidden in our photo album for our 36 years and showed no one. My partner knew about it but never really showed any interest.

It has taken me around 36 years to tell my story. as I’m now 66 years old I’m willing to take the risk and tell it. It was instilled in my mind to tell no one.
March 2025 this burden was lifted off me and I was free to tell my story. I don’t know why but I felt free to tell my story and went on the hunt amongst our old albums to find the picture and the negative.”

FORENSIC PHOTOGRAPHIC ANALYSIS
File condition: The file “IMG0232.JPG” was submitted as a scan of a film photograph from 1989. The absence of the original negative limits spectral and granular analyses, but the image has sufficient sharpness for morphological evaluation of the objects.
Technical description of the image: Forensic Optical Analysis (CMS OAP v3.0) The photograph was examined using tools such as ImageJ and histogram and contour analysis. Morphological integrity, depth, and occlusion by foreground branches confirm two structured disc-shaped objects. Setting: open field with scattered trees and a sky overcast by an impending storm. Anomalies: two dark, disc-shaped objects in the upper quadrant.
Photographic Analysis: Objects with sharp outlines, without motion blur, partially obscured by foreground elements. No digital manipulation. Conventional hypotheses discarded: insects, birds, drones, reflections, balloons, and aircraft.
ENVIRONMENTAL AND ASTRONOMICAL DATA
NOAA records confirm electrical storms on the “alleged” date of the event (NSW, January 15, 1989).
FINAL CONCLUSION
Forensic analysis of the image, cross-referenced with meteorological and astronomical conditions, absence of air traffic, and experiential assessment, resulted in the systematic exclusion of conventional hypotheses (IFO). The morphology of the objects, absence of digital artifacts, environmental context, support the final classification with a high degree of confidence:
