Simon Holland, a NASA linked filmmaker, claims insiders have told him two groups of scientists are racing to publish reports claiming a technological civilization is right next door to us orbiting a planet around the star Proxima Centauri just 4.25 light years away from Earth. It is part of the Alpha Centauri three-star system. Discovered in 1915 it is too faint to be seen with the naked eye. It is a red dwarf. It is known to have one planet and possibly two more. What is special about planet Proxima Centauri b is that is orbits in the star’s habitable zone and is a rocky world just slightly larger than Earth. It is capable of sustaining liquid water on its surface.
Radio Signals dubbed BLC-1 were first discovered in 2019 and thought to be either human interference noise reflected from our atmosphere or a natural interstellar source. Reanalyzing the signals now suggests they exist in a narrowband electromagnetic frequency at 982 MH that could suggest a technological origin. That frequency lies outside normal parameters for known natural sources.
Oxford University Scientists are working in conjunction with Australia’s Parkes Radio Telescope and Mark Zuckerberg’s Breakthrough Listen Project. Dr. Andrew Siemion of the Breakthrough Listen Project may have tipped off Holland as to what is coming. Siemion has stated that the signal is, “undoubtedly one of the most intriguing signals we’ve seen to date”.
Holland believes that Chinese Scientists working at the Five Hundred Meter Aperture Spherical Telescope (FAST) are also readying a paper for publication claiming that BLC-1 may be of an intelligent non-human signature.
So, is disclosure just around the corner this time or will we find out in the next few weeks that we have been served yet another nothing burger?
