Famed UFO Researcher Lee Speigel has died. MUFON and the entire UFO community mourn his passing. Lee was engaged in UFO research for over 50 years. He was an acclaimed journalist with the Huffington Post and had a long running show on KGRA Digital Radio called “Edge of Reality Radio.” Lee’s investigations did not stop with UFOs. He investigated the paranormal at length also. In 1978 Lee addressed the United Nations on UFOs. In the 1970s and 80s he recorded over 1,500 radio shows on NBC. In 2012, he received the International UFO Congress Researcher of the Year award. Lee was a cast member for one season on the Hanger 1 TV Series and in 2020 Lee co-produced and co-wrote the James Fox film “The Phenomenon.” Quite the impressive resume! We will miss you Lee!
