MUFON is considered an expert on unknown things in the sky and was recently quoted in the news when one couple experienced a bizarre light show in Cape Coral, FL.
When a witness and his spouse saw strange lights from an unknown source while driving home on January 5, 2023, they weren’t quite sure what to think.
What did they see? It’s hard to say:
According to a report made to MUFON the witness said, “I was amazed at the display and the sequence display,” the reporting witness stated. “The lights appeared to be projecting down and across the sky from a weird-colored cloud that didn’t look like the others out that night and the lights stayed in the cloud.”
Unexplained observances in the sky are a fairly regular occurrence – but typically there is an explanation that leads us to believe these strange sightings are not otherworldly. Florida ranks third in the nation for UFO sightings in December 2022, with 25 cases recorded.
