Sightings or encounters with alien beings have been reported for centuries. The concept of humanoids who do not reside on Earth yet have very similar physical attributes and possibly superior technologies has long held our interest. To date, there have been nine different types of such aliens that range from Andromedans, the Flatwoods Monster, Greys, Hopkinsville goblins, little green men, Nordic aliens, Reptilians, Sirians, and Anunnaki. However, most modern encounters have been reported with “Greys”, such as the alien encounters surrounding Area 51.
In this section MUFON reprints articles from reliable sources that chronicle alien encounters or report on congressional hearings and eyewitness testimony regarding now unclassified information. Of particular interest will be the account of Richard French, a retired Air Force Lt. Colonel, who in 2013 at the age of 83 testified on Capitol Hill to the Citizen Hearing on Disclosure panel.
At that hearing and before former congressmen, French claimed that as a lead investigator or “UFO Debunker” of Project Blue Book in the 1950s, that he intentionally played down an alien encounter, that he himself had witnessed, when he filed his report. His testimony lends credence to the usual government statements that have often been issued followed a publicized sighting of alien beings.
What to Do If You See Alien Beings
It is often stated by scientists that human-like, intelligent life on other planets is possible. Yet only recently it has been disclosed that a protocol has been suggested by the U.S. Military in the increasing likelihood that we make contact with alien beings. Their “Seven Steps to Contact” laid out logical steps to be taken during an alien encounter. Contact would begin with surveillance and data collection, then advance to covert visitation in order to gauge the strength and performance characteristics of the aliens’ spacecraft and weapons.
Through an NBC News online posting you’ll read about the White House’s 2011 response to petitions asking the U.S. government to formally acknowledge that aliens have visited Earth and to disclose government interactions. The statement denied any knowledge of or contact with alien beings. It is interesting to note that this statement preceded Richard French’s testimony by two years.
Part of MUFON’s goals and objectives are to make the general population aware of reports regarding alien visits and encounters. It is for you to decide if you believe. If these reports have piqued your interest in unexplained encounters with aliens and UFOs, then we invite you to attend a MUFON meeting in your area. There you’ll find intelligent and credible persons who want to know more than we as citizens are generally being told. Consider joining us and even training to become a certified UFO investigator!
